Basement Remodel

The basement had been finished 20 years before and was dark and dated, although the carpet had been replaced a few years before and was in good condition. The single large outside door was wide, short, and leaked cold air. I fabricated a French door with weather stripping and added a roller screen for insect control. The paneling and ceiling tiles were removed and insulation added to the exterior walls before sheetrocking.
